The Faces of Ethels: Carol Yarrow

Carol Yarrow is an active member of the Chesapeake Bay Area Ethel Gathering Group in Maryland, which has nearly 1,000 members. She says her group is all about education, so something educational is offered at every local Ethel event. She's most proud of her group's charity arm, Ethel's Closet. Through this initiative, members of the gathering group collect items to donate to women and girls at a recovery center. Yarrow says that if any group member has an idea for an event or charity project, that member is encouraged to go for it.
