  1. We have launched an Ethel Store! Celebrate being a part of The Ethel community by proudly wearing our new Ethel-branded products!
  2. There are now Ethel Gathering Groups in 47 states. Through these groups, older women are meeting up and making friends in cities across the country. To find out if there's a group in your area, go here.
  3. Also, we hosted a special live virtual event on The Ethel Facebook page on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. ET called "Life After Loss: How to Be a Calm, Competent Executor." In case you missed it, you can find a recording of the event here. The next live event will be Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. ET called "Life After Loss: What You Need to Do for Yourself."
  4. We're offering women-only Road Scholar Ethel tours to New Orleans and New Mexico in 2026. These are FABULOUS tours! Don't miss out. Sign up today, as spaces are limited. Want to know more? Check out our recent interview with Road Scholar!
  5. This week's Ethel newsletter is out! Check out this interesting article on the top holiday movies of all time. And read all of the other new Ethel articles on the Ethel website.

More About The Ethel Community
The Ethel, named after AARP's inspiring founder Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, started as a free weekly e-newsletter in August 2020. Since then, we've launched a public Ethel Facebook page, a closed Facebook group, The Ethel Circle, and another closed Facebook group, The Ethel On-The-Go. The Ethel Circle is a safe space where older women can talk openly and honestly about the very real joys and challenges associated with aging. The Ethel-On-The-Go group is for older women who love to travel.
